1. When I was in kindergarden, I wanted to be a dentist when “i grew up”. I have no idea why. This idea stuck with me until grade 9 biology class kicked my ass.
2. I keep a journal.
3. I have lived in all the capitals of North America, and in two witnessed their biggest natural feats (Washington D.C.’s “Blizzard of 96” and Mexico’s big EarthQuake of 1985, yet I managed to miss the Ottawa ice storm. Go figure!
4. In grade 5 i had a mushroom cut.
5. I can’t wear heals or girly shoes for the life of me. If you see me in these types of shoes, chances are I have bandaided each toe, except for my pinky toe and big toe, and chances are i’m STILL in pain.
6. I love retro! retro music, sneakers, and of course the FANNY pack! I still have the original gameboy, its games, the games instructions, AND the NINTENDO Fanny Pack to carry it in…I refuse to upgrade.
7. I think Lex Luthor (or the actor that played him) is HOT, circa 1993 Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of SuperMan. Always did, always will.
8. When I lived in the States kids in school used to make fun of me for being Canadian because of that Simpson’s Episode where Ralphie says “I’m from Canada and they say i’m slow eh”
9. I love the Jungle and DnB scene, but couldn’t name 10 djs on the top of my head!
10. I love to Dance! and KARAOKE.
11. I do not understand people that do not recycle, especially young twenty somethings that SHOULD know better. I have no tolerance for it.
12. I am musically trained (Through the Royal Canadian Conservatory of Music or something like that) in Theory, and took piano until grade 8 piano, if I finished this, I could have taught….oh well! I sometimes wish I could perform a song in public NOT during Karaoke.
13. I snore, sometimes even when i’m not fully asleep.
14. I love garage sales, and rumaging through people’s junk. My last two appartment buildings had “sharing spots” and i thought it was the greatest thing in the world!
15. I have never gone skinny dipping.
16. When i’m really happy/excited I perform dance routines alone, usually to Britney Spears or 90s Dance!
17. I am sentimental, and pick up on the small things. These things are evident to me, and in the long run add up!
18. I love the eeeby jeebies and horoscopes and astrology. I read my horoscope at least twice a week.
19. I’m a huge nerd and really like to read and watch shows/documentaries that relate to sociology, gender, globalization, the environment, philosophy, and religion…..but lose interest fast. Unless you wanna fight me about it!
20. I like to psycho analyze myself, and my friends, and dont hide this one bit.
21. Drunk Cara and Sober Cara would NOT be friends.
22. I LOVE POUTINE….and SEX! If I get both I will be very happy, but usually am quite satisfied with one or the other (even though poutine is fatty).
23. I secretely think that someday I will make it BIG by writing a book. I don’t know what type/subject but this is what I see.
24. I believe in signs, and symbols from the Universe. ITS A SIGN!
25. I remember at least 1 dream a week, and try to look it up to see if it means anything. They usually confuse me more than anything!
