BUT it is cool how can feed it into your blog. AND somehow find a way to tweet then it updates facebook. So if I can tweet on twitter and it show up on CaraVision & Facebook this is worth it for me. We talk about it so much at work etc. that the trend has gotten to me! Yes, I’m a follower! So what!
The critique about twitter is that it is too short and fast moving. However – this is how life is here in Vienna and at the United Nations. People are here a short amount of time, and since they are friendships and activities move at lightning speeds…you won’t see someone for a week and they’re whole life could have changed! who knows but then you have like one sit down to get updated..so lets get updated. with updates updates tweeter tweet tweet!
I advertised it on the LBI, and funny thing is…all Canadians replied! So this weekend, I am bringing a Canadian flag and am going to represent for all the Canadian Electro/DnB Fans/Techno/House fans out there!

The results from “the rules” were: EVERYONE WAS DRUNK! We were a parade of like 40 people dressed in vintage! The orange vintage phone was our common ground for the night…Representing the United Nations, we were united, and the orange phone matches the Vienna International Centre!

After Vittorio’s we commenced to TRY our pub crawl, which basically just turned into a HUGE parade of drunken interns from the 1960s and 1970s just trying to stay together. Thank goodness for the orange phone! Raised in the air with pride – it kept us United! Like the UN! hahahahah So many had conversations on this phone. Many were subject to violence from the phone as well hehehehe I keep forgetting, but once I remember, I am going to bring the phone as a decoration for my desk. Since it REALLY does match the color scheme of the UN (truely 1970s style!)
I swore to people though that if we ended up at Titanic I would storm off into the night! And guess where we ended up after 2 bars and much confusion about keeping the group together –> TITANIC. I stormed off into the night with my orange telephone! It was still a blast being in costume and having a parade of us Next theme party – 1980s!! or School Boys and School Girls!
Finish Line!! – The PUB CRAWL will end at PRATERDOM’s disco club by 01.00 am! (Praterstern U1) and we will continue the party there.

Too many to speak of. Doing the LBI is cool. There are so many events its tough to keep up. but fun to try
I am at loss of words for once, I don’t know where to begin. Weirdly, i’m getting used to working at the united nations and the way of life here. HOWEVER – this does not mean I don’t get homesick once in a while. Which I do..I miss english television, english signs, english english english! I miss hearing it on the bus etc. I miss kraft salad dressing and I miss shopping malls open on weeknights!! Also, I miss living by myself, and being able to retreat alone once in a while
On the other hand. Working at the UN is incredible! It is truly and international revolving door. Interning at the agency is great, I have finally found how to balance my projects / tracking people down to understand projects. The LBI also keeps me busy on my down time. This weeks agenda:

-Thursday, FREE funk-soul concert at Museum Quartiers to Kick start summer
-Sat – 1960′s & 1970′s theme party. I’m thinking Jackie Kennedy classic & Chic. Just like me…well the classic part at least. hahahahah CLASSIC.

Museums Quartier is my favourite hang out! They put bright colored couches out every year for people to chill on. They are apparently a different color every year, this year as you can see they are yellow.
You can buy drinks in the bars/cafe surrounding this area and drink them on the couches, or you can BYOB a style i like very much some nights ! Many of my nights begin at Museums Quartier for predrinking I can see this being true in the future this summer, I also look forward to spending many days there this summer chillin out w/friends
Sometimes there are concerts/exhibits that happen here to (as it is Museum’s Quartier) like a museums court. This is what we had to see/say about the modeling happening last Saturday:
This weekend will not kick start with MQ like they usually do Instead, I will check out a blues/funk/soul concert! It will be Vannessa’s last day Thursday (my intern office neighbor) so we will be going out to celebrate her last day as an intern@ the IAEA…but definitely not her last night out in Vienna. Thank gawd! YAY LONG WEEKEND! Can’t wait to have friday off
Since it has gotten nice here, I have found a love for picnicing! Which is a very common past time, amazing! I have never met so many people on my level and all about sitting around in the parc for an afternoon

This Book is awesome! It describes people so specifically, it has a chapter on everything: personal traits, your warnings, the part of body that rules over you, love, health, diet – you name it!
What a weekend in the sun! Stayed in Friday, but Saturday went to donauinsel to chill all day in the sun and drink beer! It was a gorgeous day:

Later on…we went barhoping, but met a bunch of peeps at Museums Quartiers, another popular hang out! At night you can just chill outside and make your own party. Drinking in the streets at night when its warm? MY style! We took a little impromptu photo shoot, until the camera was forgotten for the whole night.
After chilling at MQ a whole rack of us went to TITANIC, for a night of dancing! Which was awesome! There were MORE pics BUT THEY GOT HIGHJACKED/DELETED in the drunken jumble *SHAKES FIST* Next time I will remember to always be in charge of the memory taking…cause CARAVISION is better than television <3 Partied until morning!! Well the bars close at 4ish here…So mid morning!
One room played hip hop, the other like pop hits from 80s, 90s, and today!
The pop room even played BASSHUNTER which made me EXTREMELY HAPPY! No one remembered…this was the only song i FOR SURE remembered…and also LOW by flo rida cause i tried to have a dance off with some black dude on the dancefloor but then he wante dto like waltz/spin and dip me during it…at this point i walked away from the situation!!! Oh its still the same!
So I was really bummed a few weeks ago. The new kid jitters…trying to figure out where I fit in here. Its the same old office politics in every big organization . However, I pretty much feel like i’ve landed in the middle of a highschool movie sometimes, but i’m slowly finding some fun and chill people!!
Monroe was kind enough to go the extra mile and send me a card! Truely made me happy <3 Its nice to have friends back home rooting for you across the ocean! As much as it is just not the same here, it seems like the same old story in the end anyways…if that makes sense at all!
