So last weekend I was sick, all I did was sleep for five days straight. One night I had “cabin fever.” Michele had a few people over for a bbq. This is how I got introduced to a cereal called “Chocoballs,” which last Saturday i found at a biostore….to my surprise!
Anyways, whenever i’m sad I look at this picture:

IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY! Michele is such a character – I am so glad we met. He always knows how to take away my bad vibes and make me smile <3 Michele is the happiest guy i know, and he says its all thanks to the “chocoballs” he eats in the morning…hahahahaha. My office husband lots of kisses go out to you xx.
In addition to chocoballs, he also had jumbo sized peanuts. There was just a whole lotta nuts and balls at that bbq – but who am I to complain about that Bruno would have been in heaven…

Also – it was refreshing to meet some new faces at his place. I was introduced to a website called couchsurfing.com a platform for travellers and open minded people to meet. The idea is that if you have a couch and are open to someone sleeping on it, they “surf” your couch, its also a great way to find accommodations while travelling. For more paranoid people (like me) you can just put “coffee” which means you are open to show someone around your city. I’ve joined…but need to explore the site more.
In my efforts to minimise my drinking….I am coming up with new activities for the interns. This weekend will include: Sushi Dinner Friday, Saturday custom t-shirt making, Cosmic bowling Saturday night (make use of custom shirts), and Sunday Funday at Prater.
What is Sunday Funday? A time a group of us will gather to go on rides! You see Praterstern is a fair ground which is open pretty much EVERYDAY! It’s fun…last weekend I went with my office wifey Sarita. Some flicks…

On July 18 we will be featured on The Vienna Fashion Observatory. HOPEFULLY on the hot list (at least that’s what they told us) if not i think my life would be ruined forever! (jk) Chrissy and I used to say “You know you’re an internet celebrity when you have to go shopping INCOGNITO” Now it should be “You know you’re an internet celebrity when your featured on other websites” ehehehehehe This is what we had to say about it:

The results from “the rules” were: EVERYONE WAS DRUNK! We were a parade of like 40 people dressed in vintage! The orange vintage phone was our common ground for the night…Representing the United Nations, we were united, and the orange phone matches the Vienna International Centre!

After Vittorio’s we commenced to TRY our pub crawl, which basically just turned into a HUGE parade of drunken interns from the 1960s and 1970s just trying to stay together. Thank goodness for the orange phone! Raised in the air with pride – it kept us United! Like the UN! hahahahah So many had conversations on this phone. Many were subject to violence from the phone as well hehehehe I keep forgetting, but once I remember, I am going to bring the phone as a decoration for my desk. Since it REALLY does match the color scheme of the UN (truely 1970s style!)
I swore to people though that if we ended up at Titanic I would storm off into the night! And guess where we ended up after 2 bars and much confusion about keeping the group together –> TITANIC. I stormed off into the night with my orange telephone! It was still a blast being in costume and having a parade of us Next theme party – 1980s!! or School Boys and School Girls!
Finish Line!! – The PUB CRAWL will end at PRATERDOM’s disco club by 01.00 am! (Praterstern U1) and we will continue the party there.

Will NOT be putting the FLEX pics in…BECUASE IT SUCKED! I love DnB but here in Vienna they have it every week at a place, and well the weekly DnB @ Flex….HAS NO ROOM FOR DANCING! and a bunch of stupid raver kids getting in your way each second burning you with a ciggy. Vannessa has scars to prove it! NO THANKS! Still looking to find a fun DnB party where i can move I think Arena is the best bet for it.

Museums Quartier is my favourite hang out! They put bright colored couches out every year for people to chill on. They are apparently a different color every year, this year as you can see they are yellow.
You can buy drinks in the bars/cafe surrounding this area and drink them on the couches, or you can BYOB a style i like very much some nights ! Many of my nights begin at Museums Quartier for predrinking I can see this being true in the future this summer, I also look forward to spending many days there this summer chillin out w/friends
Sometimes there are concerts/exhibits that happen here to (as it is Museum’s Quartier) like a museums court. This is what we had to see/say about the modeling happening last Saturday:
This weekend will not kick start with MQ like they usually do Instead, I will check out a blues/funk/soul concert! It will be Vannessa’s last day Thursday (my intern office neighbor) so we will be going out to celebrate her last day as an intern@ the IAEA…but definitely not her last night out in Vienna. Thank gawd! YAY LONG WEEKEND! Can’t wait to have friday off
Since it has gotten nice here, I have found a love for picnicing! Which is a very common past time, amazing! I have never met so many people on my level and all about sitting around in the parc for an afternoon
ahhhh picnics, we discuss office politics, guys, updates, and find out words of wisdom. While watching hot men playing basketball. Mathematical conclusions about life / analysis happens in the park, this is what it means to be a woman.
