It’s a SIGN! I have made my party mark on Vienna, through the 1960s, 1970s, and the 1980s. I have seen most of the great Nightlife here and its awesome…The list goes on:

-Titanic, Titanic, and Titanic again

-Camera

-Museums Quartiers, and Museums Quartiers some more!

-Little Buddha … No Dancing Allowed

-Chelsea..rocked out!

-Charly Ps the busiest/most fun irish pub in Vienna

-Kunsthalle

-Sing your Song Karaoke…one woman show!

-The Roxy..the infamous kick off to Vienna 2 month partying bender……as mentioned in the introduction of my Weekend Adventures in Vienna!

…to name a few

and the FINAL SHEBANG…

-Urban Art Forms!!!!

That’s alot of partying….so as I say goodbye to the Orange phone, along with many good friends<3 who have left and/or are soon leaving the UN , I say goodbye to a chapter of my life @ the UN. I must say I have never drank as much tequila and/or gone to sooo many different places (besides Titanic) in the span of 2 months in my life! The nightlife here is awesome! But now time to move onto CULTURE and TOURISM full force ahead!

It begins TONIGHT! @ the Sommernachtskonzert This concert is advertised city-wide and is a VERY popular attraction in Vienna, last time, about 60,000 people attended the concert!

I hope there is waltzing, and people who are down to waltz!

So today at coffee break there were inquiries about the party from a new intern.

New Intern: So who is in charge?

Me: I am, well i do own the orange phone which i use to round up the interns…

New Intern: What? What do you mean orange phone?

Me: [trying to explain, but looking like an idiot]

New Intern gives me a funny look, enter Selyna.

Seyna: Whats funny?

Me: He was asking who was in charge…

Selyna: Well whoever has the orange phone of course…

Conclusion: the new intern thinks we are nuts.

So apparently the “Orange Phone” is getting alot of hot press during our lunch breaks, coffee breaks and on facebook It has made its mark as the mascot for the United Nations Interns… well if you look at the color scheme it DOES go:

So here it is….a dedication to the orange phone! Here’s to your future as the UN mascot amongst interns and consultants at the Vienna International Centre! Hip hip…hurrah, hip hop hurray! I shall bring you to happy hour tomorrow…and to the 1980s party Thursday to keep the group united and to continue your legacy orange phone!

Ok.. so the phone is no longer allowed to be used as a weapon against Luka. HOWEVER the fad will roll on. JUST this weekend a fellow intern spotted other people in Vienna USING AN ORANGE PHONE ALMOST IDENTICAL to the UN INTERN ONE – the nerve! She was able to get a pic and snapped this shot below. What is this, a trend?
